Application Terms

1. Who these terms are between

These terms are an agreement between you, the Etsy seller using this application, and Emporium Edge LLC ("we", "us"), the provider of StoreSum ("the Application"). By connecting your Etsy account to the Application you accept these terms.

2. What the Application does

The Application accesses your own Etsy shop through Etsy's API, using the permissions you grant when you connect. It reads your orders, listings, payment records, shipping settings and the reviews left on your shop, and it writes back changes you ask for, such as shipping and tracking details and listing updates. It does not act on any shop other than your own.

3. Your Etsy account and Etsy's own terms

Your use of Etsy remains governed by your agreement with Etsy. Nothing here changes it. You are responsible for your listings, your products and your compliance with Etsy's policies, including Etsy's Creativity Standards and Prohibited Items Policy. You may disconnect the Application from your Etsy account at any time, which immediately ends its access.

4. Your data

We handle your shop's data as described in the Privacy Policy. In short: your data is used only to provide this service to you, it is not pooled with other sellers' data, it is not sold or licensed to anyone, and we do not store your Etsy password.

4a. Fees and payment

Some plans are paid. The fee is for the StoreSum dashboard and the features we build and run — the reporting, the listing tools, the supplier and fulfilment work and the support that goes with them. It is not a charge for access to your own Etsy data, or for anything Etsy provides to you free of charge; you can always reach that yourself in Etsy's own Shop Manager at no cost.

You can cancel at any time, which stops the next charge; we do not refund a period already run unless the law requires it. Prices exclude any tax we are required to add.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Application to breach Etsy's terms or policies, to access a shop you do not own or have not been authorised to manage, or to attempt to obtain data about other Etsy members. We may suspend access where we believe it is being used this way.

6. Who owns what

Your shop, your listings, your products and your data remain yours. StoreSum itself — the software, the interface and the way it works — remains ours, and these terms grant you the right to use it, not to copy, resell or reverse engineer it. Text drafted for you by the Application, once you approve and publish it, is yours to use.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

DISCLAIMER: THIS APPLICATION IS SOLELY PROVIDED BY EMPORIUM EDGE LLC (THE “APPLICATION DEVELOPER”). YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ETSY, INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT THE APPLICATION DEVELOPER, DO NOT PROVIDE THE APPLICATION SERVICE, AND MAKE NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO THE APPLICATION OR DATA ACCESSED THROUGH IT.

In plain terms: Emporium Edge LLC is the sole provider of the Application. Etsy, Inc. is not the developer, provider or operator of the Application, does not endorse or certify it, and is not a party to these terms.

The Application is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data obtained through Etsy's API will be complete or accurate. Etsy gives no warranty in relation to the Application and has no liability for it.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither Emporium Edge LLC nor Etsy, Inc. is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising out of your use of the Application.

9. Indemnity

You are responsible for what you sell and for what you publish to your shop, including listing text you approve. If a claim is brought against us because of your products, your listings or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover the costs it causes us.

10. Changes and ending the agreement

We may change these terms; where a change is material we will tell you before it takes effect and you may end the agreement by disconnecting the Application. Either of us may end this agreement at any time. On ending it, we stop accessing your Etsy account and handle your stored data as set out in the Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of USA.
